Happy New Year !

Happy New Year, friends !

Most of Italy (with five regions left behind) is now a yellow zone.  Non-essential shops are open and (joy !) restaurants and bar/cafes are again in business until 6 PM.  People are also free to move around as long as they remain within their region.  A cappuccino in a proper ceramic cup sitting at a table (preferably outside) is now possible.

Our beloved Ristorante Il Cortile in Rome is preparing the black truffle to shave over fresh egg pasta.

All to say, things are beginning to look up.  Vaccinations move along.  In its vaccination campaign, Italy is reportedly the second most efficient country in the European Union, with Rome’s region of Lazio leading the way.

A number of you are not just dreaming but thinking seriously about Italy.  Much as gardeners use the winter months to plan the next season’s garden, let us use these early months of 2021 to sketch out your itinerary.  Booking accommodations and guides is risk-free as every accommodation and guide we book has flexible policies.  At no charge we reschedule bookings, this if for any reason, after booking, you are not comfortable traveling to everyone’s favorite country.

Complete our no obligation survey and receive from us preliminary ideas and a firm cost estimate for our services.  We know no better way to summon (Italian) sunshine to banish the winter blues ! https://www.insidersitaly.com/travel-survey/

The trips you planned for Bill & me were major highlights of our lives together.  That’s what makes your service so special. You don’t just plan itineraries, you plan life experiences. ” Betsy Madero
