Let the Planning Begin !

E’ primavera !

In Rome the peas and fava beans are in, and all across the country, everything’s coming up spring.

Looking ahead, the best news for those who count the days till they can visit is that Italy’s restrictive measures have made a huge difference.  Vaccine effort have accelerated, and 27% of Italians have received a first vaccine dose or been fully vaccinated.  Nearly all of Italy, come next week, will be in the low-infection “yellow zone” which puts the country ahead of much of Europe.

There is no better time to begin to plan a trip.  The wine is on me if come September you cannot be having dinner anywhere in Italy.

October and November see seasonal food sagre (celebrations), mushrooms, new season olive oil, vino novello, truffles and wonderful music and autumn art exhibitions.   Thanksgiving would be a dreamy time to come.  The December holidays are no place nicer than in Italy.

Please know that our longtime travel approach complies with best practices for COVID-safe travel, and that we have a variety of handpicked villas that are lovely if you think you would like a little extra space.

Travelers are now booking for early autumn 2021 and all of 2022.  We offer a fully flexible rescheduling policy.  Please be in touch with us or complete our no obligation survey.   What are you waiting for ?  Italy is waiting for you !
